10 Jul 2017 H2O Asset Management acquires commodities specialist Arctic Blue Capital
H2O announced that it acquired 51% of Arctic Blue, an asset management company managing USD 200m through a managed account and a Cayman fund. The deal is pending FCA approval. Artic Blue will operate out of H2O’s London platform but remains a separate management entity with investment products that won’t carry the H2O name.
H2O currently manages USD 14.6b and offers several global macro strategies within UCITS funds. Arctic Blue is a specialist in systematic commodity trading and also runs an equity long-short strategy.
